Want to know a bit about me?

Want to know a bit about me?

Well, ok if you insist, but I’ll keep it brief! My first job was working in Television and Film at some of the big studios. I then did some teaching and really enjoyed that too – eventually becoming a school leader and head teacher. Nowadays I still help schools and train new teachers, but I spend a lot more time writing.

I’ve always written, including two musicals, but it’s only in the past few years (since the pandemic lockdowns really) that I have really focused on writing full books. I must admit I love doing it and hearing from readers how much they have enjoyed reading my work is the biggest thrill of all. I live in Central Bedfordshire and also Somerset (both in England) and I like few things more than going on a fossil hunt (I’ve collected since I was two years old!)  I have a teenage son who may, or may not be some of the inspiration for Spencer. My wife is much smarter than me and does all kinds of incredible stuff with technology and AI for education. She’d really like a Bradlii too.

And finally, we have a dachshund called Milo. He thinks he’s a big dog in a small, sausage shaped body.

If you have a great idea for Spencer and the crew, tell me. You never know, it might make it into one of the books!

Or if you have a question about him or me I promise I’ll do my best to answer!
